Medtecs Group donated US$100,000 to the Cambodian Red Cross for the 158th World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, which was celebrated on May 8th, 2021.
On behalf of Medtecs, Mr. Larry Kao, Country Head of Medtecs Cambodia, met with Ms. Pum Chantinie, Secretary-General of the Cambodian Red Cross, on Monday, May 10th, 2021, to present the cash donation for the occasion. The World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day celebrate the values and principles of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent movement, which aims to provide medical help to victims around the world. This is in line with Medtecs’ vision: To better the world’s health for everyone, everywhere.
Since establishment, Medtecs has been committed to giving back to the local communities and has taken on the responsibility of creating a positive impact on the society generally by championing charitable causes around the world. For the past 21 years, Medtecs regularly donated cash and medical supplies to the Cambodian Red Cross and other Red Cross chapters across the globe.
The Group also provided much-needed personal protective equipment (PPE) to the Royal Government of Cambodia when the world was in the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. We will continue to leverage our unique position as the world’s leading PPE and protective solutions provider to better the world’s health.
